Jack Kershaw is the equally famous former Texas Ranger turned PI that investigates the cases and too often has to provide Billy Bob with some 45 caliber help, because some criminals just don't like to face justice. "The School Girl Murders: A Billy Bob Sheldon Legal Adventure Novel" (2012, 2021) by Larry Hill is an entertaining piece of legal fiction about a crafty, seasoned Texas attorney and his former Texas Ranger investigator, who defend a pair of female high school twins charged with the double murder of two female classmates. The novel is quite entertaining even though it reads like a TV legal drama. Solidly recommended. Gavin Bruce’s narration is well done. At my request, I was given this free audiobook and have voluntarily left this review.

Entertaining piece of legal fiction
