Fast paced

In this sequel, Alec & Rafe investigate a series of death and they figure out that it is connected to King Solomon and they are off to find his ring. Along the way, Alec finds out what happens to his parents and meets someone that looks just like him, but that doesn't make sense to him as he knows that his parents didn't have any other children. A horrible thing happens in the beginning & shows you exactly how evil The New Watchers are. There are hints of who Rafe really is, but it hasn't come out yet. I really wish he would just sit Alec down & tell him the truth. The longer he holds off doing it, the harder it's going to be. I love Enoch, Clemy and all of the other side characters. This book is very fast paced, full of action, dangerous & it's a real page turner. I can't wait to see where we go from here.

Well, I liked it enough

*Maybe spoiler*
I looked forward to this book but I can’t help that it’s disappointing in a way. This is book two and nothing has been explained like the mystery and secrets (from book one) keep piling up not a hint/glimpse of a solution surfacing.

I expected to have some answers I know not all should be given (like who would I be to expect that) but it’s a promise that was placed telling just ooh I’m not human is violating that, you’ll know soon enough, or “you two shall be punished” is not cutting it as I’m well aware he’s an angle (Malak) probably Raphael if I’m guessing. I liked the story but those lines keep popping up making me upset and irritated.

The fact that everybody knows something and they refuse and/or got distracted on telling poor Alec is more then frustrating to continue.
I probably like the book too damn much that it’s rattling my nerves.

If you like a long suspense on secrets and mystery this book would definitely be something you should check out no doubt about it
