Editing issues

Lots of parts where phrases are repeated for a new recording but the old recording isn’t cut out

great historic review of human thought

man's evolution is the evolution of consciousness. this book chronicles man's philosophy, cosmology and theology. you can get an idea of where we've been and that helps to envision where we need to go as a species. a great scholarly work of our time. read it or audio it!

Amazingly great work by Manly P. Hall

1st of all, I redownload this book thinking the reading was a technical glitch. Sadly, it's not, and that will have you questioning what you just heard and have to back up and wonder how much if the text did you just miss, or hear the reader modify the last few words.

Aside from the performance, this is an absolute Gnostic gem and philosophical review of both history and religion. Even if you do not seek Gnosis, this complete review of nearly every religion and it's basis is one that should be referenced time and time again as it summarizes many principal teachings in good measure.

Beautiful book with awful editing

Too many mistakes in reading, especially where while paragraphs are repeated and the mistakes not deleted. It was too distracting so I went with another reader's version to finish the book.

Most unprofessional narrator

The narrator keeps repeating certain phrases and words like he dont understand what he's reading.
Really annoying.
One of the worst narrators ive come across.
I wont finish this version of this book.

The worst, edited audiobook I’ve ever listened to…

So I like this narrator from other books. There is many versions of this particular book and I went with this one unbeknownst to me about an hour in there was so many pick ups and bad edits. I am not sure how this one got thru Amazon’s review systems. Please fix. This is an incomplete book. The content is hard enough to follow as it is. But when you hear the same paragraph start over, just so he can re-pronounce the name is unacceptable.

Deletes key information!

I was listening while following along in my book and the narrator skipped an entire section of key information!!
Stick to the book version, this audible is propaganda.
I couldn’t believe how much the narrator purposely skipped.
I want my money back!

TERRIBLE EDITING great book

GET ONE OF THE OTHER VERSIONS OF THIS BOOK

Manly P. Hall is fantastic. This book is fantastic. The production quality is TERRIBLE.

All they needed to do was audio editing. I actually like the readers voice and he re-read the parts he messed up (and there are a lot if them) but it was never edited out.

*disappointed*

I guess I'll buy a different version.
