Publisher's summary

No matter the storm, God knows, God cares, and He is always there.

The chaos of life can be overwhelming, and women get a heavier dose than most. Each day comes with its own pressures and disappointments that slowly erode joy, peace, and closeness to Him. Chaos always feels like the enemy as it rages around us and inside us. But there is hope!

In The Storm Inside, best-selling author and Women of Faith speaker Sheila Walsh invites you into 10 life-changing, hope-filled transformations where God's divine redemption quiets the chaos you feel. With insightful biblical teaching, intimate stories of her own storms, and the chaos other women have faced and overcome, Walsh shows how:

  • Heartbreak can become strength
  • Shame can lead to love
  • Unforgiveness can find freedom
  • Restoration can undo rage
  • Courage overcomes insignificance
  • And so much more

In The Storm Inside, you will find rest in the most calming of truths - that you are always a child of God no matter how you feel. You will learn to see yourself as God sees you, not as someone forever tossed by the waves but as a woman fully known, fully loved, and growing ever deeper in faith and hope.

Walsh reminds us that God offers no guarantee of a life without storms, but He does provide the lighthouse necessary to make it through them.

Good book overall

The storm inside is a good feel good book, or a inspirational book for Christians. I am a thirteen year old girl and I liked it. This book is not full of adventure or anything like that, but it did give an impact on my life. I would recommend this book to any young girl who is feeling upset, something happened, feeling self conscious, or needs a better spiritual relationship with God.

(Would not recommend if you are not a Christian)

Too religious for me

She's decent, I just couldn't relate to a pastor's wife as much as I thought I could.
