It's a real shame to see this book getting bad reviews,
The writing is solid, and the narration fits the story SO well. I'm a fan of this type of horror. Quite often, though, the writing or narration doesn't allow me to immerse myself in the story due to mistakes and such.
The author avoids many of these common pitfalls by keeping a lot of the specifics of the infection away from the reader. This would usually bother me to a degree, but the author does a great job of approaching this realistically from his characters' perspectives.
ok, enough of this. take my money! I gotta go buy book 2 and 3!

the women are just as tough as men in this thrilling zombie apocalypse book! absolutely would recommend to fans of the walking dead or mad max...the pandemic storyline seems quite realistic though

Hopefully most readers won’t miss the point. The story is not the zombies, it’s the brave people who work together for survival. It’s a tale of what matters, or what should matter to us all.
