About this listen

Discover the strange legends, tales and history of Wales.

Did the Welsh sail across the Atlantic in the 12th century?

Was King Arthur Welsh?

Included are stories on ghosts - both real and fake - and the legend of King Arthur. Welsh animal lore, customs, monsters, and music are also examined. One of the strangest villages in the world gets a chapter to itself, as do witches, miners, and druids.

The book is written in a personal, lighthearted style, with geographical references to help identify the places. Although the stories are intended to entertain as much as educate, the historical facts are accurate.

Hopefully, you will come away with a different view on Wales - and a smile on your face.

Very poorly produced and edited. One chapter is repeated five times. Too many ghost stories.

Poor production & editing

I first heard of the author Jack strange when I asked for a free review code for strange Ireland and ever since I have consumed every book I come across that is written by Mr. strange.I love you driving in this self deprecation is notations on his relationship with his wife is super funny oh yes and the material he covers. Some of it is strange some of it is all inspiring and some cringe worthy, But all or intriguing andinteresting. I love books by this author and will continue to consume whatever he puts out. Unless he changes genres LOL!

If it is written by jack strange you know it’ll be good or great rather!

Both the writing and the narrator are excellent, but this is a bad edit. Some sections or sentences are repeated, later in the book it’s a whole chapter!
