About this listen

A young woman's body is found dead, lying under the main Huntington Beach Pier. The cause appears to be strangulation, but with no witnesses and no viable clues, detectives Scott Becker and Russ Paulson must now track down the invisible killer.

But as they begin their search, another victim is found in nearby Long Beach, her lifeless body discovered no more than a few hundred yards away from her apartment. The detectives quickly discover that the two women were friends, but who is the common denominator? Could it be someone obvious? Or is it someone that they would least suspect?

The Studio Musician, an entertaining suspense novel, will keep you guessing until the very end.

Garet tell a nice little story in the style of a gritty murder detective mystery. There are good characters and a solid storyline. Moreover, Garet does an excellent job at voicing the narrative. It’s worth a listen if you are into the detective genre.

A nice little ditty!

This book takes the reader on a journey to find the killer of two young women. The two main characters are reminiscent of Joe Friday and his detective partner. Hence, the sarcastic and deadpan comments that are made as the detectives try to solve the case are laugh out loud funny. Along this journey the reader is introduced to many characters - and many suspects. Trying to figure out who the real murderer is kept you guessing to the very end! I thoroughly enjoyed this author’s funny and clever way of storytelling!

Enjoyable Ride!
