About this listen

The first two books of the Leah Nash mystery series

Reporter Leah Nash can't resist a good story, especially not one that ends in murder. Books one and two in the Leah Nash Mysteries series are fast-paced mysteries full of twists, turns, and plenty of surprises.

Dangerous Habits

Reporter Leah Nash returns to her Wisconsin hometown after 10 years away - unfortunately, not in triumph. When she goes out on a limb - her natural habitat - and connects the drowning death of a young nun with a shocking scandal, the story she uncovers could be her comeback - or her last byline.

Dangerous Mistakes

Leah Nash is trying to keep her head down under the icy glare of her new boss at the Himmel Times Weekly. Then a local surgeon commits suicide, but his daughter insists he was murdered. Leah is a tough-minded reporter with a soft spot for lost causes. She steps in, and soon is hunting a cunning killer who has no intention of stopping. But then, neither does Leah.

Loved these books!!

Both of these books kept us going on a long drive. We couldn’t wait to get back in the car and get them going again after we would stop. I loved the narrator, She was perfect for these books. We will definitely be listening to the next book in the series. Very well written and enjoyed the suspense.

A better reader would make it enjoyable

these books need a better reader
I powered thru but if the third one is as monotone as the first two, I will not go forward with this series

Unfortunately the narrator ruined this book for me

I'm still struggling to finish up the first book. I have about two more chapters to go. The narrator's voice is just dull, sleepy and lifeless. It's making it hard to get into to the book and stay focused. I found myself just trying to get through it only to realize there's a second book and I think it will be read by the same narrator...sigh. I'm not sure if I even want to start that one to be honest. It may have been a good book if I had read it myself or if it was read by a narrator with better voice acting ability.
