About this listen

My name is Griffin Miller. I'm the lead singer of Amaryllis - yeah, the platinum-selling rock band. Tonight, my career dreams came true. The notorious Tulsa Theater. Check. Awesome Crowd. Check. Voice on point? Not so much, because I was too distracted by the brunette in the front row.

Luckily, the crowd didn't seem to care.

Now, I'm sitting here signing my name on branded merch looking for a single face - her face - in the crowd. I have to find her again....

Buy now to meet Griffin Miller and the woman who brings this rockstar to his knees!

Good story

Loved the story. I needed a female voice. Toby Jack did a great job on the male voices. My favorite genre. Thanks to everyone.

Romances next big thing!

I absolutely loved this book!! Griffin and London have such a powerful relationship. This Book took me on a whole roller coaster of emotions, I laughed, I cried, I was frustrated, but most of all I was excited to see what happened next!

I can not recommend this book enough! If you like good books, THIS is a must.

Drama, Drama, Drama!

I'll admit, I'm only about a quarter of the way in to this book, but i'm already struggling. Within the first few hours of the protagonists meeting, the heroine runs off from the hero at least three times because she's scared, or mad, or confused. Every time this happens it's because the two have misunderstood each other. If this level of angst is present in the first few hours of their relationship, i'd hate to see what a whole lifetime together would be like.

To be fair the story might be fine for some, I just feel like the author has crammed a whole books worth of conflict into just these first few chapters, and most of it is just unessessary. I just don't think I have the patience to listen to the rest.

Book is better

I absolutely love this series but the person reading it makes it weird. He speaks with some form of accent and tends to add an ‘r’ to some words and says others with a pause in the middle. For example produce is pronounced as prod-uce.

Struggled to make it through

My biggest issue with this was the narrator's accents and pronunciation. Particularly the word "says", I cringed every time I heard it mispronounced. I'm also not sure how a character from Tulsa, OK ended up with an accent from NY and\or NJ.

As for the story itself, the heroine was not exactly sympathetic. She was the cause of most of the problems in the book.
