oh my gosh.

the performance was amazing. even though obviously one cannot see the actors and actresses in an audiobook, they were all amazing and it was very close to seeing the actual play.

now as for the play itself, it could have been written by John gruden. it is to William Shakespeare what brown sugar is to The rolling Stones. this is perhaps the most politically uncorrect piece of literature I have ever listened to. I cannot imagine that it will be reading in schools anymore or ever performed as a play again. as you know, from the title, Kate is a very bitchy woman, and this guy basically abuses her to turn her into the most subservient submissive female, with extreme overtones of BDSM.

hell of a play

Well Done!

Excellent! Well acted and well recorded. The play came through clearly and enjoyably. No nonsense or foolishness, other than what Mr. Shakespeare put in himself.
