About this listen

Edited and introduced by MSNBC’s Ali Velshi, The Trump Indictments collects the complete charging documents brought by the Department of Justice and the Fulton County (GA) and Manhattan (NY) district attorneys—a riveting and shocking narrative of the former president’s alleged crimes and conspiracies.

“Despite having lost, the defendant was determined to remain in power…”

So reads the compelling introduction to the Department of Justice’s second indictment against Donald Trump—one of four criminal cases brought against the former president. Purposely crafted as narratives to be read by the public, these documents are among the most consequential in American history, forcing the country to grapple with the critical question: does justice apply to the most powerful?

Edited and with an introduction by MSNBC host Ali Velshi, The Trump Indictments collects all the charging documents against Trump and his co-defendants, providing critical insight on a decisive moment in our history. It is required reading as the country faces a pivotal reckoning—both in our justice system and at the ballot box.

The way that Trump typed to cover up all his crimes, but they were uncovered by the district attorney's office. Michael Cohen having a come to Jesus moment of telking the truth even though it cost him 3 years of his life, but he's a better person for it. Crime does not pay. The law will always catch up with you. No one is above the law.

Its dry but essential reading to understand the web of maneuvers, plotting, planning and steps taken to undo a safe and fair election because Trump could not admit he lost. The co-conspirators were all too happy to aide in the effort to undo our democracy. Thanks to state election officials and poll workers who would not violate their oaths our democracy held. If you think Trump can be president again you must read the contents and depth of evidence in this piece. Please read it.

Growing up I used to read my Father’s legal journals. My favorite articles were the decisions of Justice Nusmanno. He and my Dad loved true Justice and our system of law. They would appreciateciate the clarity of thought and definition that went into this book,

Crystal clear

The most amazing and scary thing about this book is that the defendant is still a free man. Anyone else would be in jail.

Not in Jail?

I hate that this happened. I love this country and hope we survive. Oppression and tyranny will be the end of mankind.

Essential read for rejecting credibility of fraud in the government of the United States of America.

This book is a good outline and place to start for any lawyer preparing and ready to prosecute the Defendant! While the number of felonies may have changed, the charges still stand and are valid! Hard to believe the Defendant has been able to dance around, delay, and avoid being taken to court, charged and convicted, and put under the jail! A candidate does not get special treatment in court, should not be treated with kid gloves, simply because his plans to return to office and hopefully get some of the Federal charges dropped by an AG he will appoint! Presidents are not Kings, and Plaintiffs should not be presidents! This book may some day become a text book for lawyers, a study guide, and will be studied for years to come.

This book stands on its own

This is a very important story, It illustrates the magnitude of Trump's legal problems. But it does not work as an audiobook, because it is constantly repetitive. It uses the same phrases over and over again. Chapter 3 is especially repetitive; I finally just skipped to chapter 4. Also, the accompanying PDF does not cover the entire book.
