About this listen

A U.S. Navy ship vanishes during a secret World War II experiment gone awry. When it re-appears, observers are horrified to see crew members embedded in the deck and steel of the ship. During a sea trial, the ship vanishes and travels through time, setting off a number of events that continue today. It's not science fiction, it's science fact!

Bill Knell presents a fascinating and unique documentary. You'll meet Al Bielek, Preston Nichols, and Duncan Cameron. They are all survivors of U.S. government experiments involving invisibility, time travel, mind control, psychic warfare, and remote viewing. You will hear about these amazing projects firsthand. You'll experience dramatic recreations and learn about related incidents.

It began as a World War II Navy experiment to demagnetize military vessels, making them invisible to radar. It ended with the USS Eldridge completely disappearing, traveling 40 years into the future. You'll hear firsthand from the Survivors of the original experiment and about more recent projects based on the same technology. Visit the infamous Montauk Military Base at the heart of these operations and learn how the technology allows ships, planes, and people to travel through time. Al Bielek, Duncan Cameron and Preston Nichols are three men with intimate knowledge of the strange and incredible events that took place and may very well be STILL taking place now. Learn how technology they helped develop and test is being used to change the future. The military CAN send ships, planes, AND people through hyperspace and make them completely invisible. The 911 attack was predicted by those involved in these black operations, because they knew about it years before the event. Prepare for an unprecedented journey into the strange and unknown.

Not an audio book in any sense

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

IT is hard to say. Sci-fi enthusiasts or conspiracy therorists would enjoy it. In a way I did but essentially it is a recording of a group discussion complete with references to photographs or slides that obviously no listener to an audio book can see. It is an interesting discussion and I am inclined to believe it but as I said, it is not an audio "book"

Who was your favorite character and why?

There was one commentator and several listeners, no real characters

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator was easy to listen to but there was a lot of background noise and mysterious silences throughout the commentry

What character would you cut from The Truth about the Philadelphia Experiment?

The question doesn't apply

Any additional comments?

This discussion is in the wrong format and would be better delivered as a short film or documentary.

Awful

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Nobody in his right mnd.

Has The Truth about the Philadelphia Experiment turned you off from other books in this genre?

There is nothing else like this. Not a book, Just a rambling, nonsensical recording of people talking.,

Would you be willing to try another one of the narrators’s performances?

no

What character would you cut from The Truth about the Philadelphia Experiment?

All

Any additional comments?

This is not a book and should not be sold as one.

Garbage

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If the person reading the story knew how to use the proper software. It sounds like he is talking into a tin can, which is irritable.

How could the performance have been better?

Invest in proper software.

good potential, terrible execution

This is less an audiobook and more a recorded interview, very amateur. The first portion you can hear that his smoke detector needs a new battery. audio very fuzzy and aggravated my tinnitus. interview portion had a lot of crosstalk and was hard to understand, audio very poor.

Story is interesting if you can get beyond the bad audio.

The truth about this 'audiobook'

WARNING! THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO-BOOK!
This item should not even be available on audible.com. This is an audio rip from a video interview which is incoherent, unrefined, and plain unintelligible. There is a long segment where slides are evidently being presented and all you have is the comments being made on the visuals. This is not intended to be an audio only presentation.
From the beginning, the audio is horrible. The 'narrator/author' makes a brief statement before the interviews begin, and even that audio is of the poorest quality. This cannot even be a book to begin with!
I am always curious about conspiracy theories and find them very interesting. This item did nothing to educate me on anything that I could not read (more comprehensively) online.
I did not waste a credit on a $10 purchase, but now I REALLY want my money back and I will do my best to pursue that.
Do not waste your time, money, or credit on this NON-audio-book.

Bad sound.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This may be a very interesting book to read and may have even been great to read. But listening to this book as an audio book, no way, it was a killer. It is a play-back from an interview. Really can't finish it.

Any additional comments?

If it would have been read from a transcript it may have been fine.

Pure Garbage-A Waste Of Credits/Money

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The lecture is pure silliness. According to the participants in this conference the CIA can reprogram you and make you a physical child again. The participants are perfect examples of what happens when hallucinogen abuse goes terminal.

What do you think your next listen will be?

irrelevant

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of the narrators?

irrelevant

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

None whatsoever.

Any additional comments?

Think I said enough already.
