loved it

loved it, good mix of dark humor, religious discussion, and action. it also cleared up a good bit of confusion at the end of the last book.

Listen twice

The narraration is excellent. The storyline provides several answers to questions in the series but there are a few continuity issues and a small plot hole or two. Fortunately Mr Kratman and Mr Ringo get the best out of each other in this team up and the alternating story lines work well together to get to the big finish.

Different but good

Definitely not what I was expecting... Posleen heroes, but a good read nevertheless.

The story is universal.

One of the best in the series that took the Posleen from beasts to beings. A great metaphor of how all wars end. The combatants become friends and allies.

a fabulous book written by John Ringo!!

all of this authors works seem to be of a higher quality than others out there. all of which I believe are on audible and if anybody is in need of good Sci-Fi and/or fantasy-based books, I recommend you take a look yourself

Glad I continued

Originally I shunned this book, partially irritated from the abrupt end after the first and only book so far of the Hedron War, and partially hesitant this was going to be like The Hero, but was more than happily pleased. Kratman and Ringo make a good team on this storyline, and while open to continue, does allow somewhat of a satisfying conclusion for the Posleen Human interactions. Still, here's hoping the series will continue.

Sorta religion and sci-fi mixed

This is the book you should read after the Watch on the Rhine and Yellow eyes but before Cally's War and Sister Time, I might have mentioned before that its after Sister Time but it makes more sense to read it before that.

This book is back with the Posleen and Humans, sorta after the ending of the other 2 books written by the same 2 people, Watch on the Rhine and Yellow Eyes - there are some good characters back here and some new ones also, but there is this whole religion thing along with this book and the other 2 (the rest of Ringos stuff isnt like this) and really its not needed, I mean who would believe in religion anymore after its proven that everything that your religion is made of is false, the Aliens say they are false because they have been around since Humans were living in caves - how then can anyone be so stupid as to believe in it anymore? this should have been left out of the books and is the reason the story gets a 3 out of 5 stars.

There is this journey to find the Posleen home world and how its sosposta help the Posleen become more normal and not kill everyone they meet, things happen along the way that are not expected but in the end fit into the story pretty good.

This is like the other 2 books Watch on the Rhine and Yellow Eyes, if you didnt like those you probably wont like this one and really all 3 can be skipped if you are reading the Aldenata Series of books, but look at my other reviews for the correct order to read them in
