A Helpful Guide As I Age!

Menopause hit me hard with brain fog, and I was tired of feeling like I couldn’t focus or remember simple things. I’ve read and listened to other books that made it seem like I needed to completely change my diet, take a million supplements, or become some kind of biohacker to feel better. This one was different, thankfully. What I liked most is how realistic it is. The advice is like, “Here’s one small thing you can try this week,” and that felt doable. I’ve started making a couple of the suggested food swaps, and I honestly do feel a little clearer and less foggy—nothing drastic, but enough to notice. And that gives me hope.

The tone is encouraging and friendly. It feels like it was written by someone who actually understands how busy life is, especially when you’re dealing with changes in your body, work, family, all of it. If you’re struggling with brain fog and don’t know where to start, I’d recommend this. It doesn’t promise miracles, but it offers small steps that feel manageable—and that’s exactly what I needed.

Healthy brian and great advice

The author is correct; if we keep our minds active, like exercising, by continuing to read, it will keep both our minds and bodies active and strong. Physical activities keep our minds healthy, which in turn helps us live longer. I learned a little bit of this in school, but I never put it into practice due to homework and other family responsibilities. I should celebrate all my achievements so we can reward our efforts, and it will help our body and mind. This will eliminate stress and other concerns that slow down our progress. I love the audiobook and the narrator's voice.

A Better Diet for Better Brain Function

It was shocking to learn the enormous impact diet can have on our mental performance. This book not only makes that connection it gives a list of small and simple weekly changes that will transform the average diet to help it strengthen and improve your brain’s performance. I like the way the author shows how to change your diet gradually in a way that fits into your life. The underlying philosophy of this book: making big dietary changes is best done in small, gradual steps over time makes it easy for anyone to follow. As mental sharpness and clarity become more important at work and at home, it becomes more important that you listen to this book.
