Publisher's summary

It sounds like a scene for a saucy seaside post card....

When a young British Bobby gets sent to investigate a break in at a nudist camp, the first nude person he encounters is an attractive young lady.

Or maybe a carry on film?
He is smitten, she is Bea!

A romantic comedy?

Is it the start of something, or just the prelude to an arrest?

This is a gentle romantic comedy. It features naked people, but no absolutely no sex—the characters are British after all!

Great Naturist Story, but...

I have been a fan of Ten Bun for years and have read almost all of his books. When I saw an audiobook version of The Uncovered Policeman, I lept to buy it.
The story is as good as I remembered, and the Audiobook is worth buying.
Before I continue, I must say that I am both an author, audiobook narrator, and producer. While my father was born in Lincolnshire, I was born in the United States, didn't inherit a trace of my dad's accent, and would not have auditioned to narrate this story.
Felix Ryder's performance is good and gets better as the story progresses.
My only real complaint is the poor production quality. There are several re-takes and one spot where the narrator is obviously talking to someone off-mike. Both of these issues should have been resolved during the pre-publication editing process. Also, the producer should have removed a low background hiss and other mouth and environmental sounds. All of the noises can easily be cleaned up with a quick pass through several commercially available plug-ins.
Otherwise, good job. I'm looking forward to buying the next one.
