About this listen

In the second book of the Ancient Guardians supernatural romance series, listeners continue to follow Reece Bryant as she takes up residence in the enchanting dimension of Pemdas. After she accepts the proposal of marriage from Levi Oxley, the emperor of Pemdas' son, their romance heats up in preparation to begin their new lives together. Their love is stronger than before, and it appears that nothing can come between them. Or can it?

In the second book of the series, listeners will be trying to solve the mysterious events that are unfolding with every word. One thing is for sure: Whether or not Reece has vowed to marry Levi, she is still the most sought after individual in all galaxies, and some beings will risk everything, even their own lives, to destroy her and extract the valuable information from her mind. Is the protective dimension of Pemdas really the safest place for Reece to be? Will her romance and unyielding love for Levi lead her straight into her enemies' hands?

Narrator inconsistencies

I absolutely love the story. However the narrator has inconsistent linguistics. Why does Levi, Navarre and Allistaine have an English accent whilst his cousin Harrison and his uncle and aunt do not? As a matter of fact, they are no other characters that have any type of accent.

Great Book

Natasha Soudek is a fabulous narrator and the Author D L Morgan is an awesome writer. I have read all three books and can hardly wait for the next one.

Fun book . Worth reading.

Intrigue, death, traitors. Interesting story line. Strong women. Sword fighting. Trechery, too many emotions to fight through.

It got tedious

It could have been a good story, but it was hard to get through the story without the constant saccharine descriptions of the muscles of Levi and how gorgeous Reese is and their sappy google eyes for one another. I like a good love story as good as anyone else, but the actual plot took a back seat to endless descriptions of the of this love fest. First, I began skipping these portions, then realized that is about all this book is. I finally abandoned the series.

Read the book. The naration is terrible .

The pace and attempt to make every sentence dramatic is actually painful. Monotone delivery and deadly slow delivery kills any interest in the story.
