A great look into biker culture.

The Unknown Mongol is an excellent story about one man's acceptance and turbulent rise through the ranks of one of the countries largest M.C.s. Less about the "bad ass biker" image and more focused on the stress and struggles the author deals with while trying to balance club life with personal life.

The story reads great and I would recommend it to anyone. The narrator, Jeff Hays, does an overall great job. Some of the voices were lacking but other than that the narrator offered plenty of emotion and inflection in his performance.

Gritty Coming of Age True Life Story

Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. The True Life story of Scott "Junior" Ereckson was an excellent listen narrated by the smexy Jeff Hays. The story telling was in the style of "The Sandlot" and "Stand By Me", but with grittier subject matter. Aside from some language, the story doesn't go into extreme detail of the sex and violence mentioned. The is not an erotica or offensive story to some readers/listeners. If you are interested in the history of one of the most notorious MC's in California history, this is an excellent choice. I fully enjoyed this book and the entertaining narration. Jeff Hays did an excellent job bringing the characters and story to life.

great story hopefully there's another book

I love the way the author makes different voices for different characters but his voice for the main character made it look like jr. was 5 ipicture jr. having a deep manly voice even some of the effects that he had like the intercom or the phone calls was pretty cool

Interesting Concept

An enjoyable listen with a different insight than most of the outlaw biker books I have read or listened to. The narration was fantastic, the theme and story were well done and held my interest. I found it to be an enjoyable listen.

Damn good book!!!!

I absolutely loved this book. It was real, raw, and really made an impressive statement. Not a LEO perspective and a true insight into the MC culture.
