Publisher's summary

After thirty years of marriage, Wilson Lewis, son-in-law of Allie and Noah Calhoun (of The Notebook), is forced to admit that the romance has gone out of his marriage. Desperate to win back his wife, Jane's, heart, he must figure out how to make her fall in love with him... again.

Despite the shining example of Allie and Noah's marriage, Wilson is himself a man unable to easily express his emotions. A successful estate attorney, he has provided well for his family, but now, with his daughter's upcoming wedding, he is forced to face the fact that he and Jane have grown apart and he wonders if she even loves him anymore. Wilson is sure of one thing - his love for his wife has only deepened and intensified over the years. Now, with the memories of his in-laws' magnificent fifty-year love affair as his guide, Wilson struggles to find his way back into the heart of the woman he adores.

An Enjoyable Story of Redemption.....

I loved this story, it held my interest from beginning to end..... The wedding is almost a sequel to The Notebook, but it's the next generation... the children of Ali and Noah. It's about the love a husband has for his wife and the lengths he goes to save his marriage and to renew his wife's love again. When a husband forgets the most important day of his marriage, he figures a way to make up for his memory loss. Its about love, romance and redemption. This is an easy listen.... recommend as a good change of pace listen.

The narration by Tom Wopat was superb. If you like Nicholas Sparks novels, then you will most likely love this one!

Even better than the notebook!

The reading was perfect! The story was every woman's dream. Such a very acquirable and believeable story. You never know what true love can really do. It inspires people to look beyond today and see what truly can be accomplished. Loved it.

true love deserves....

So many time we take the easy route and forget to fight for love. Wilson took for granted that once a person finds the love, then that's the end. He simply forgot the things you do for love. This book gives the reader a gentle reminder that love is a great gift. To chose to truly believe in love with the past, in the present and for the future. If you enjoyed the Notebook, you'll fall in love again with The Wedding.

One of Sparks' best

I really enjoyed this story and I think many people can relate to it. The hope of rekindling a stale marriage shines through in this well done work.

One of the best books I've read in a while

Any additional comments?

This book was amazingly wonderful. I loved it from beginning to end. The character is so true to life and believable and I know at least three men that fit this character that have gone trough a very similar story. Great storytelling!!!!

The Wedding is good, but not too realistic.

The story started out slowly. Almost wanted to stop listening in the beginning, but I’m glad I finished it. Very romantic. Worth the listen.
