Reaching a breaking point, she cashes in a gift certificate and heads to Revelation Cove in British Columbia. Flying solo and newly single, Hollie hopes to reflect and discover her purpose among the beautiful surroundings but instead ends up unintentionally providing comic relief for the staff and guests alike. Hannah Matthews is undeniably tough - a single mom, a top-tier PR exec, a breast-cancer survivor. She prides herself on being go-to-Hannah, who can handle any crisis. But with her grandmother balking at going into a retirement home, her daughter unexpectedly pregnant, and an old flame suddenly underfoot, Hannah is facing a few crises of her own. And being back home on Seaview Key is definitely adding to the stress.

The stories!!
This series of books is so much more than one story! It’s a seven book saga about a bunch of wonderful but different characters! I hated to finish the last book.. because I wanted the stories to continue!! I just hope that Ms. Miller may return to the series and marry off Amanda, Leanne, and Iris!!

Uplifting
I listened to all 7 of the books. It was a beautiful story idea getting old friends together and adding a little bit of romance. Starting new for older women is what attracted me to the story in the first place which was uplifting and hopeful. The only negative was one of the narrators voices for Grace. There was something annoying to my ear with her voice tone. Obviously having listened to all 7 books, it was not so bad that I avoided the books, but is was still there.

Enjoyable and easy to listen to!
Nice balance of real life issues, romance, and mild suspense. Nothing to cringe at - swearing or graphic sex, etc. A nice break from the mental burdens we face…an escape…just what a book is meant to be!

Nice, romantic little stories.
I said, the same in a previous review of a book in the series, but the narrator for Grace takes too many audible breaths, and it is annoying. Overall, I loved the storyline.

Friendships and Romance
I fell in love with the Iris and the girls in Book 1. When 1 book ends, I cannot wait for the next book to start. I feel like I know all the characters and they are my own circle of friends. I want to visit Compass Key and hangout with everyone. I hope the series isn't over! There are more marriages to have and then babies. So I will be on the lookout.
