Publisher's summary

From World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award winner Michael Moorcock comes the third omnibus volume of his famous Elric of Melniboné series.

Torn between worlds, without maps on the Moonbeam Roads, seeking forgotten memories and lost loves, Elric of Melniboné faces the strangest adventures of his bizarre and varied life. His relationships, his very bloodlines, reveal a still larger canvas, a narrative crowded with avatars of the Eternal Champion—von Bek, Hawkmoon, Corum, Captain Bastable, and others—coming together across the multiverse in a finale that makes the troubled albino a major player in the great War Amongst the Angels while rooting him thoroughly in our real world and history!

Nice ending to a great saga

So glad these are on Audible now. This has been on my reading list forever and finally got to enjoy them. A satisfying close and hopefully a new start.

Great performance as before but story is just alright

Same narrator as the last two Elric books which I enjoy.

Stories are very different from the traditional Elric stories.

Without spoiling too much, these are continuations of The Fortress of the Lost Pearl. So reading that first helps.

These are a very different take on Elric. There’s first person narrations and interweaving with our world and history. Elric is arguably not even the main protagonist.

I enjoyed these stories overall, don’t get me wrong, I just liked the original stories better.

Awesome Story!

Great. As a long time fan this was a great story! Good finish to the saga. Now we need an Elric movie.

Different but good, multiverse shenanigans

Very, very, very, different compared to traditional Elric stories however if you're up for an unconventional rendition Elric, who usually isn't the main character in these. However these stories are all loosely centered and do always come back to Elric in a round about way. They span across the moon beam roads and other worlds whose maintenance is key to maintaining the balance between law and chaos, then I'd recommend it.

Must Listen: Excelente end and beginning to the saga of Elrik

I’ve read almost all of of the Eternal Champion Saga. I really enjoyed the audible version of all three volumes. I would love to listen to a theatrical presentation of all three volumes.

Multiverse shenanigans

I love the characters and all the weird adventures that they go on. I like how it all ties in to the other books.

More Multi-verse madness

-Jason

Multi-verse adventure from one of the old visionaries.

Hated it

It’s rare that I don’t finish a book even when I don’t like it. A friend referenced the main character and I was intrigued. An Emperor that wields two soul sucking swords that are sentient? A lone warrior that calls on the demon powers of his Ancestors? The premise of the novels offer much. The story is the stuff of Kindergarten coloring with chewed crayons, so difficult to follow and with so many plot holes that the suspension of disbelief is obliterated.

Worst of the trilogy

I’ve read a stack of Elric books, and I especially enjoyed the previous two installments in this trilogy involving Ulrich’s world, but this installment was such a tedious drag.

NOT WORTHY OF ELRIC

These stories are horrible. It’s dull, preachy, and doesn’t even read like an Elric novel. NAZI’S in an Elric novel? Please stop. This was so bad, I didn’t even bother to finish it. Not worth the money or time.
