About this listen

Warring kingdoms. Ancient blades. Dragonriders and godlings. A growing evil that threatens to destroy the world. Don’t miss the highly anticipated follow-up series to the number one Amazon best-selling saga, The Fatemarked Epic.

Infused with magic, shadows and starlight, the powerful godblades were believed to be lost nearly half a millennia ago, when the Godswar ended. Now, however, one has been found by the unlikeliest of wielders: Sampson Gaard, a blind but ambitious prince with something to prove.

The only question is whether he controls the blade or the blade him. With an insidious evil lurking in the shadows, the answer may very well determine the fate of all Kingfall.

The Kingfall Histories takes place on a different continent in the same world as The Fatemarked Epic. Fans of The Fatemarked Epic, The Stormlight Archives and Legends of the First Empire will fall in love with the world of Kingfall.

Excellent

I loved this book, very good, the whole book was right up my alley. My favorite part was actually postlude 4. It was very good, yet heartbreaking. I hope to see more of that character in the next book. Which I plan to start immediately. Give this book and series a go, if you like fantasy I bet you would love it.

Excellent and Rad

Dude, its been a hot minute since a story has been like "wow, f***." On several occasions, the actual feelings that were literally conjured from the story (Tim's wonderful voice helped Im sure) made me ponder what a golden nugget I have in my library right now. on to book two, Im literally wiping the tears I shed seconds before this.

Great!

Great beginning to a series! Great story that I can't wait to hear more of. Excellent narration. Nice added short stories at the end to flesh out the world even more.

Something special begins

The beginning of an epic. David's exceptional writing, along with Tim's fantastic narration, makes this well worth the listen. The story is very good and intriguing. The characters are interesting, and their personalities and decisions feel very realistic. I'm super excited to continue this epic and delve more into the fantastic world of Kingfall!
