As far as the rest of the book goes, Teddy Roosevelt depicts America in vivid and colorful detail, from trees, mountains, streams, to almost every animal that roams the regions. Although I am not a hunter myself, I wished I could have gone on one of his adventures! If you're into hunting, I encourage you to listen to this. Teddy may have killed many animals, but he insisted on preserving much of the wilderness, speaking of not killing more than necessary, and respecting nature for what it is.
The narrator read it about as good as I could, if not better. It's a simple read for him, but sometimes I found myself nodding off to his droning voice. He doesn't throw much emotion in the action scenes, but that's okay. I still enjoyed this book.
