Everything you need in a Faerie Tale and More!

Tardnattle, a Sgahm (better known as Wee Folk), and a Little-Big-One (Human boy) meet up and together they try to return a witch's cookbook. However, this cookbook is unique as it talks, teaches, and it is a bit too clever! Tardnattle finds himself in the middle of a huge mess as he tries to decide who the evil person is here … the witch or the cookbook!

The author, Vee James has skillfully woven together a delightful tale of adventure and the magical world of Faerie. Each character is delightfully developed and given traits that connect them to the listener. Including the evil cookbook! I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the plot twists. There were one or two that surprised me! I found his characters to be thoughtful and would be an inspiration for those children needing a little guidance. The message of the book of doing right was well blended into the story.

The narrator, Hannibal Hills delivers a truly captivating performance! His voices for each character were unique and suited their personality and character to a T. His delivery of each word was clear, smooth, and flawless! His pace was well-timed. I have to say Hills has become a favorite of mine after this book!

I highly recommend this book as it is fun, light, and carries a message about doing the right thing. An awesome book for all ages!

Delightful Fairy tale Adventuee

Join Tardnattle and his friends as they embark on a journey to return a lost cookbook - belonging to a witch..

Adventure, fun and mishap ensue along the way. This whimsical tale has unexpected twists and turns and hilarity as the cast of characters make their way through the forest. There is a fair dose of karma as well such as the time the bully finds himself on the potty for four days!

Young readers/ listeners are sure to delight in the different characters and the determination of Tardnattle to always do the right thing. Although frightened, he is brave. When he wants to give up he perseveres. Aesop would be proud of the moral of this story.

Richly narrated by Hannibal Hill. Highly recommend.

Great story line

If you like fantasy and adventure books than this book is for you. I enjoyed listening to this book with my daughter every afternoon on our drive home from school. I love fairytale books like this one that describe characters and magical lads in detail. It really helpes me feel like I was there with them trough out their adventure. The book is based on a Sgahm, a Little-Big-One, a faerie, a witch, and a wizard. The stories is about friendship, bravery, and trickery. You might think you know who the bad guy is but a curve ball is thrown and you will see some characters are not who you thought they were. Narrator Hannibal Hill really did a great job bringing each character to life, by giving them each their own flair and charisma. Great book a must listen to!!
