Jerry Sciarrio
Raised on the factory planet of Vulcan, Sten soon learns about the survival of the toughest. Now he wants more than survival. The Eternal Emperor rules countless worlds across the galaxy. Vast armies and huge fleets await his command. But when the Emperor needs to pacify the Wolf Worlds, the planets of an insignificant cluster that have raised space piracy to a low art, he turns to Mantis Team and its small band of militant problem–solvers. Sten’s destiny is in his own hands.

That is a compliment to Chris for his days playing in the South East Asia War GAMES
I got to go play in 68/69 Funny thing is I came in in Second place also.
I think the guys with the big glasses and funny nose rigged the game when he was dancing on the tables in Paris or is that GAY PAREE!
The book I bought within days of it coming out as I did with all of the Sten Books. The old guy at the book store ordered them for me as soon as he knew they were coming out. He knew that I really liked Chris as I had met him just once and was really suprised he knew of me and a little gig I did in SEA where a bunch of us went North to Play and then ran like heck to get out of town.k
Just as so much of what Sten had to do while he took care of the empire and sometimes the Emperor. TA DUMP that is a small drum roll if you please!
I would still give my left one to have a knife that his in my arm like stens did. that is Way cool. It could probably be done in this day and age. Just finding a doctor to cut you to be able to do that part would be hard to find. The knife I can get a ceramic knife that will do the job but it is not indestructible. It is also not just one or even two or three Molecules wide dang me dang me they aught to take a rope and hang me.
I have bought this very book three times now. at least now a theif or a fire can not take it away from me.
Thanks two guys and a gal
dray

If you could sum up The Wolf Worlds in three words, what would they be?
Cinematic action with a heart and soul.Who was your favorite character and why?
Sten, who is the Hero, a young fellow handed the dirty end of the stick in life who just won't quit.Have you listened to any of Jerry Sciarrio’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This reader is a new discovery for me, and a name worth remembering.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
High precision writing craft, breath-taking vistas of galactic intrigue, punctuated at strategic points with a warm belly-laugh.The Sten Series is Science Fiction At Its Best

Okay, so a couple of things caught me here:
1. The Eternal Emperor is NOT AUSTRALIAN. If you've read the series all the way through you know that he is originally from Hawaii, so the Australian accent seemed crazy off to me.
2. Mahoney is of Irish ancestry, which the series references often, so why the voice actor would choose to go with a proper British accent a la the Empire from Star Wars confounds me.
3. Tanz Sullamora with an Indian accent seemed extremely odd, as did Mathias having a deep gravely voice, though that's probably just me projecting the accents I've always heard in my head.
4. A TON of the words were pretty grossly mispronounced (ex. "livee" being pronounced "Lye-vee" instead of "live-ee")
Still a great story, and some accents were done well (Kershane and the Bohr being prime examples).
Ugh.. The ACCENTS
