Publisher's summary

Eliza Jane O'Hanlan is called west to care for her ailing mother. Raised by a spinster aunt, she only knows that her mother is a successful businesswoman. When she arrives in Wylder she is shocked to learn her mother is the town madam. But the secrets don't end there....

Doctor Sam "Coyote" Sullivan saw enough suffering and dying in the war to last a lifetime. He is more than happy to help the town madam keep her girls free of disease - and worse. The moment she arrives in town, the madam's daughter makes it clear she doesn't approve of her mother's unconventional methods - or him.

Before long, Eliza doesn't just have the town of Wylder in a stir. She has Coyote pretty stirred up, too.

Helping Wayward Girls brings love!

Eliza Jane O’Hanlon has just arrived in Wylder Wyoming to help her ill mother. Dr. Samuel (Sam aka Coyote) Sullivan is the Doctor of the town who sent for her. She’s prim and proper. When Eliza Jane learns the truth behind her mother’s business, she’s determined to change things. His past has stopped him from finding love again. Will these two come together at The Wylder County Social Club?

The Wylder County Social Club is the first book in the Wylder, Wyoming series. This series brings together authors from the Wild Rose Press family to write a Multi-author series. This series revolves around the citizens in the booming western town that has growing pains. Wylder, Wyoming. The first four books bring new people to town and brings them together with the local citizens. These western historical romances will take you to 1878 Wyoming where these characters face danger, passion, the weather conditions, wild horses and their pasts to try and find true love. These stories can be read as a stand-alone book. So, welcome to Wylder, Wyoming where anything may happen, and love abounds. I very much enjoyed these stories. Take a trip to Wylder, Wyoming to fall in love with these wonderful characters and a unique town in the wild west. I’m anxiously awaiting my return to Wylder, Wyoming and finding the next group of citizens and maybe newcomers to fall in love with and who will be next to find true love.

Excellent Western Romance

Nicole McCaffrey has written a western that captures the rugged life of the early settlers. Many women had to do what was necessary to survive. Although this story is short it has fascinating plot and character development. Imagine the shock that Eliza, a prim and proper young woman, must go through when she learns what her estranged mother does for a living! This won't be an easy journey for her. Sam will help her, but she is none to happy with him. However, any woman would be lucky to win him over.

When it comes to a terrific western voice, Dawson McBride has one of the best. When I listen to him, I'm taken back to the westerns that I grew up on. The smooth flow of his deep voice will have the listener swooning. He gives all of the characters their own distinctive voices. He effortlessly changes from male to female voices. I do love listening to him. I highly recommend this Audible book. My only regret was that it was over too soon.

Love this series!

What happens when you are summoned to come take care of your injured mother after she abandoned you years before? Eliza Jane takes the opportunity to go to Wylder County to get to know her mother after she has broken her ankle. Eliza has no idea what she is in store for once she gets there, and there are a lot of surprises! Between the place her mother lives, their employees and the handsome doctor, Eliza has a lot to take in. But is there enough to make her want to stay? It's a quick paced, wonderful listen that had my interest captured early on. Eliza is a sweet girl, a little sheltered and her new surroundings truly give her a shock. Coyote(Sam), the doctor has all the swooniness I love in a hero and the town just keeps worming it's way into my heart. It's a fantastic addition to The Wylder West series!

Dawson McBride is a wonderful narrator and he continues his narration of this series. His voice is as smooth as silk, with that warm tone that warms your heart. I love to listen to him and can't wait for more.

The Doctor and the Madam’s Daughter

When Eliza Jane O’Hanlan arrives in Wylder, she’s expecting to take care of her ailing mother’s business. She does not expect that business to be a brothel. Now, is passing out a bit much? Perhaps. But then I don’t have the sensibilities of a gentlewoman of the 1870’s who’s come from back east to the wild west of Wyoming Territory. Eliza Jane does her best but her mother’s methods of running the business have been…unconventional. And Eliza questions just about everything.

When Doctor Sam “Coyote” Sullivan meets Eliza Jane, he’s smitten. He’s been taking care of Eliza’s aunt and the other woman of the social club for a while now. He lived through the Civil War and would be happy with no more killing, thank you very much. But this is Wyoming where gunfights are just as likely as bar brawls and no one is safe. Still, he patches people up as best he can.

When these two strong personalities collide, it’s tough to see how sparks won’t fly. But Eliza Jane is going right back east. Right? I was pretty sure she was going to stay, but I wondered about the conflict of morals. Both of them had valid reasons for believing what they did. Both had reasons to cling to their beliefs. But this is a romance and all worked out in the end.

Dawson McBride is narrating this series and I’m so thrilled. I love his deep voice and he hits just the right notes for this series. Can’t wait for the next book.
