I finished this last night and I really love this author's stories. When author Chrissy Peebles writes a story it feels real, not fake as so many stories you read or listen to feel. I don't know if it's the touch of humor she puts in all of her stories or if it's the way she writes the character's talking. This is no lie, the character's feel like everything they do is something that I would do or someone I know would do or say. She really amazes me and I have found author's that I love and enjoy but Chrissy just surpasses all my expectations. She's one heck of a writer.

Mikael Naramore is another great narrator. I hadn't heard anything he's narrated until I listened to this series. He is extremely talented. You can tell this as you listen to him, especially when doing the female characters. I even like his different accent he uses for the male character's in this series. He brings each story he narrates to life. Perfect, simply perfect. The story is written to perfection and it is told perfectly. You can't go wrong with listening to this series. I recommend it to everyone but especially zombie fans who are tired of all the same old, same old books out that's too much identical to The Walking Dead. If you want a different take then pick up this series. Overall, I give it 5 perfect stars!

If you could sum up The Zombie Chronicles, Book 3 in three words, what would they be?

Psychotic zombie water

Who was your favorite character and why?

Storywise, my favorite character is probably always Dean. I tend to associate with the main character. However, my favorite character "voiced" in this one was Lucy. The voice actor NAILED a psychotic, overly dramatic, southern barfly, perfectly!

What does Mikael Naramore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

This is much more complex than simply having the book read to me. He changes voices, according to characters, and each character has their own unique voice which is entirely believable. It's like watching an exact replica of the movie, behind closed eyes, but better!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and this book was actually short enough, at just over three hours, that I could, and did.

Any additional comments?

This book had some moments that made me want to just shut it off and put the whole series away, forever! The band of merry travelers has a serious run of majorly bad luck! Without a major plot twist, the author could have ended it all, right here! Thank goodness I stuck it out till the end!

the characters and rather argue beat up and interrogate somebody as to their reasons why they did something rather than just get the stuff they came for and get out before a mob accumulates and attacked them

Good but cost to much for a short story . Come I love reading and really love hearing them while I'm working but y'all prices are out, good luck with the rich folks.

Okay, the performance was good, the story could have been good...

This series had potential, but every book is a “to be continued” which means you have waste credits or money to try to finish the series. I got to boom 3 and I refuse to pay anymore money.😡
