Publisher's summary

Three years of marriage, then they’ll go their separate ways....

Scarlett Mercer dreams of starting her own publishing company. But with no way to finance university, she might be stuck working in her aunt’s café indefinitely.

When a chance encounter leads her to an extreme solution, she’s desperate enough to go through with it. Even if it means marrying a guy she’s only just met.

What she doesn’t factor into her plans is how easily she gets overwhelmed. Soon, she’s struggling to navigate university life while living with a guy she barely knows.

Meanwhile, Fraser Graham is trying to figure out what it is about Scarlett that mesmerized him so much that he agreed to marry her.

When he realizes what it is that makes her so different from anyone he’s ever met, the revelation leaves him reeling....

Will Scarlett manage to fulfil her dreams? And as sparks begin to fly, will their marriage end up being more than just convenient?

While this is the eighth book in the Hope Cove series, it can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel.

Absolutely the best books I've listened to in a ye

Love, love,LOVED this series by Hannah Ellis. The narrator,Kirsty Cox is the best of the best. I couldn't get enough of her accent. I'll be getting the rest of the books these two have done together! Thank-you too,for addressing so many current issues. Very informative and true to life!

Hope Cove

I’m so sad that I’ve finished the series. I have loved each and everyone of the 8 books. I feel like all the characters have become my friends and I never get tired of hearing about what’s going on in their lives.

Best in the series

This was, by far, the best book in the series. The story and characters were complex and well developed. I loved the insight into neurodivergent people and loved the way other characters interacted with this character in loving, respectful and normal ways. Such a good listen.
