Little bit of Humor

This is an interesting book. As listening to it felt like someone was just explaining their life. Then all of a sudden people are yelling Spanish and you just start chuckling.

Received this book in return of my honest review.

Keeps you hopping

This was an interesting story with unusual characters and plot twists. There were serious moments but nothing devastating and some laugh out loud moments- never a dull moment!

Prepare for a fun experience

There's a Dead Girl in My Yard is an old fashioned screwball comedy where the absurdities pile up and the whole situation gets funnier and funnier as it spirals out of control. Start with the premise of a renting a house with the remains of someone famous--maybe a a famous movie star ---in the yard and having to put up with mourners day and night, then move to crazier and crazier situations in Miami, LA, and other spots with a bunch of nutcases of various ethnicities trying to make a twisted situation straighter, which is impossible. Prepare to LOL. This should be a sitcom for sure.

A surprise. Really fun.

Outrageous humor, oddly endearing characters, and a great, sly view of L.A. Plus, the two narrators were wonderful and acted their roles beautifully and believably.

good listen

It took some time for me to get into the book's pace, and at times it was a little confusing, but the humor and mystery were quite nice, and it was a fun listen.
The narrators did a good job with the characters.
