Seems a little quick to start. The author drops you into the story. I liked that but I had to really catch up to who's who and what are the crabs. The creepy factor kept me in the story. Can't wait to listen to the second part.

Creepy Story

I knew I had to check out this book after listening to the sample. I love these types of stories, and, although short, I was excited to see where the author took his character(s). As for the narration, I can understand why some people might dislike it. I felt as though Terry nailed the narration. It really helped complete the character and helped show his self loathing and his overall numb feeling regarding surviving in the world he now finds himself. So glad there is a book two! Look forward to seeing more of this world Coleman has created.

so good!

not very exciting between the weak story and the narrator I had to fight going to sleep. I'll be sticking to Mark Tufo in the future.

not enough action

Started off strong and suspenseful, but fizzled out at the end. Did not like the government plot twist at the end.

good listen, I want to get the next audio book, and I am going to.

great teaser.

The narration is like the steady drip of a tap in the middle of the night. Hardly any inflection at all. The story to lies flat. This was a waist of money.

The Narration Is Not Good

What a rip off. Do not buy the audiobook. Very short, less than 90 minutes. Story had an interesting premise but what actually happens is farcical. Narrator is dull and boring, barely whispers most of the time. As a bed time story this will have you snoozing in just a few minutes.

Beware: Short Story

Zero character development. I couldn't care less about any of them. Zero story logic. Zero knowledge of the military. The story isn't compelling enough to push me to get part 2; the same narrator in part 2 ensures I won't.
