About this listen

Good girls don't steal. Good girls don't visit sex shops. Good girls don't have one-night stands.

For Katie Conners, being a good girl just isn't worth it anymore. It used to mean getting the life she always wanted. But that was before she got dumped and her ex got engaged to his rebound. So, after a bad day and one too many mojitos, Katie starts making a list of things a girl like her would never do, not in a million years....

As a tattoo artist with a monster motorcycle, Chase Trepasso isn't the kind of guy you bring home to Mom and Dad.

And when he finds Katie's list in a bar, he's more than happy to help her check off a few items. Especially the ones on the naughtier side....

Katie's more than tempted by Chase's offer, as long as they keep things uncomplicated. But as they spend more time together, she may just wind up breaking the most important rule of all: good girls don't fall in love with bad boys.

Such a great story. As a fellow Idaho girl I definitely approve this amazing book.

While entertaining, the basic premise of a "good girl" who needed a "bad boy" to rescue her was rather demeaning to the female gender.

I liked how Katie slowly transformed from a boring doormat to becoming assertive and self-confident. However it would have been so much more powerful if she hadn't needed Chase to convince her that she was special and lovable.

Also it was frustrating that Chase urged Katie to be independent, yet he still wanted to boss her around like child. I don't remember Chase actually being violent or degrading (my attention did wander a lot while listening) but he did not really treat her as an equal.

The author showed creativity and great potential, so hopefully her future novels will feature women who do not rely on men to validate their worth.

This was a great story. The characters were relatable even when they let their insecurities get the best of them. There was plenty of comedy and I found myself laughing out loud a few times causing my husband to question my sanity since I listen on earbuds while I cook and clean. I loved how romantic Chase is. The spicy scenes were mild compared to other books but overall it was a great story.
