Surprising facts about Edison

This should be a good read for someone who is into inventing things. Edison had a very poor business sense, though. The read was interesting, and somewhat encouraging for everyone.

Nice way to learn history

With this book, my eyes were opened that failures are not obstacles, rather they are stepping stones to improvement and success. This book has given me so many insights and explanations of the life that Thomas Edison had.

I enjoyed the insight

I enjoyed the perception on how he grew up and lived his life and how environments and life is providing him with the resources need to go from a curious little boy to an innovative genius.

Overall this book is highly recommended

We know Edison as inventor of luminous lamp turntable and a few more inventions. This book discovers Edison's inventions, failures and causes of failures. The stubbornness in Edison deprived him from financial gains of his inventions.

Very interesting and informative

Edison was a brilliant inventor matched only by his work ethic. He was also a poor businessman who unfortunately held some racist beliefs. Whether a fan of the man or not this book offers an in-depth look into the life and habits of the man whose inventions shaped the 21st century.

I learned more about the life and career of Thomas…. His only invention that I knew about was the light bulb but was amazed to learn that he is also behind the invention ...
