Good Listen; something for everyone....

when hearing a new short story, especially by an author new to me, I don't want to have to be forced to listen to a 5 minute introduction before each short story. I don't know them yet I don't know their work, so I don't really care anymore interested in getting to the story itself. I wouldn't have even bothered listening to this book if I could still exchange it. the information might be interesting as an afterward but before I've even learned if I enjoy the story itself I don't really want to hear it there's a reason other bios are on the back of the book cover and not the cover itself

way to much intro before each story

I liked this book because it introduced me to authors I do not usually read. Some were good, some not so much, the best part is each story is about 30 minutes so you get to just skip the couple that are plain bad.

Some good, some not so good

This was an entertaining book with some very good stories, however, there was one or two stories that had very weak plots. Somtimes I think that some writers under estimate thier audience. But , that being said, it was still a very good listen, and I recommend it to all thriller, Mystery, and Crime fans.

Thrilling Stories

I enjoyed Thriller. I generally enjoy story compilations, especially when the stories are exciting or unusual. Some of these stories were better than others, as one might expect, but all of them were narrated well, which is vitally important for an audiobook. I look forward to hearing the next Thriller books.

Not recommended. The thrillers are good enough, but I’m disgusted by the editors’ spoken introduction to every single story.
Boring biographical information about the authors with special explanation about how the upcoming story came to be. The intros are full of spoilers.

Boring, spoiler filled introductions to each story

I was surprisingly disappointed by this book. There were a few stories by great writers but the narration was flat. I would have enjoyed reading these but they were not for listening.

Not worth the time

This book did not live up to the reputation of the various authors. The stories were very short and seemed to just END about the time I was getting interested in the plot. The narrators were, on the whole, lacking, not adding to the pleasure of the experience.

Quite Disappointing

Stories were generally good... a few disappointments here and there, but worth listening to. As usual, Dick Hill and Joyce Bean made listening a pleasure!

Good Reading!

I agree with the other reviews - the stories are too short - I am just getting into the character and remembering who is who - and the story is over. I thought exposure to many different authors would be a great way to pick out the ones I liked - but the stories are even too short for that. Should have trusted the others who reviewed this before me :-)
