About this listen

A stand-alone entry in the Dangerous Doms series.

When I knew Aisling, she was my sister's best friend. Young. Innocent. Wild.

But that was then.

Now I'm hardened and ruthless. A bare-knuckle boxer. An enforcer for the Clan. And that carefree girl is a slave to her addictions with demons in her eyes. And I want her.

When she witnesses a murder - a murder I committed - I have no choice but to take her.

I'll keep her silent. I'll keep her hostage. I'll see her freed from her addictions.

And then I'll keep her bound to me...forever.

Jane Henry Does it Again! Awesome Story & Listen🎧

I am loving Jane Henry’s “Dangerous Doms” series, the characters and the dynamics of the mafia world she created is interesting and original. Each book features another member of the McCarthy Clan in Ballyhock, Ireland. Tiernan has been with the clan since he was a teen, even then he was protective of his two sisters, Fiona and Sheena. He may not have been born into the clan but he one of their most dedicated brothers, he is still a protector and a clan enforcer. A trained boxer who stopped competing for the sake of clan, but when offered a good sum of money to fight again, Keenan approves. Only the offer was not on the up and up. Aisling was Fiona’s friend when they were younger, she got a taste of the clan life, even dreamed of it but after family problems at home she fell out of touch with Fiona, then she fell on hard times and wound up in a bad way, using drugs and working tricks. Tiernan was promised first pick of any of Madam Vivian’s girls if he won the fight and he got a glimpse of in the line up of girls to choose from. But she was gone after the fight. She had run off and found herself in even more trouble, luckily Tiernan heard her screams as he was leaving and rescued her but her problems did not end there. Tiernan brings her to Ballyhock not just for her protection but his as well. Getting her sober and drug free is a challenge, getting her attitude straight is too. I loved his patience, also loved how the clan pulls together to help. This book captivated me from start to end, the story is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment, it actually brings you to the edge of your seat several times. There is plenty of drama, angst, action, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a hot romance. Jane Henry, thank you for another awesome novel.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross continue to do wonders for these characters as they bring them and their story to life. The do an awesome job portraying the characters, playing each role with perfections, sounding believable and just as I picture the characters to sound, Irish accent and all. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and projects them into their performance. They are entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen!

I Love Tiernan!

Another captivating story in the Dangerous Doms series full of determination, family love and honor, caring, Mafia clan business, love, and protection. Jane Henry never lets me down. I have waited for more of Tiernan's story. We first met him as a young boy doing everything he could to care for and protect his two young sisters. Aisling was a friend of his sister and later they lost track of each other. His sisters are now grown up and all of them are part the McCarthy clan. Aisling fell on hard times and is an addict and call girl. I love how Tiernan does everything he can to help protect her and save her from herself. Aisling always had a crush on Tiernan. Their journey won't be easy but it will be heartwarming. There will be several hot, compassionate, sensual love scenes.

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott have such awesome chemistry together and it it is evident in their narration. They become the characters and make us part of the story. Their characters have distinctive voices and they nail the swoonworthy Irish accents. I highly recommend this Audible book. It's definitely one I wanted to know the ending but I hated for it to end, and I'll reread again.

Favorite in the series

Tiernan is a great read. I could not put his and Aislings story down. Jane Henry had become one of my go to authors and because of books like this. This series is great and it keeps getting better if that is possible. Not sure if it’s because you get to visit characters from earlier stories. Carson was my favorite before but now Tiernan has become one of my favorites. I highly recommend this read. It is hot and you won’t want to put it down. Narration was wonderful with Kai kennicot and wen Ross

Finally Tiernan's story!!!

I love this series and adore Jane Henry's writing, but I have to say I have been waiting for this character to get his own story! Since we first met him, with his sisters Fiona and Sheena, I was intrigued with this man. Brought in as a young man who did everything to protect his sisters, we watched him mature and grow into the strong man that he is. Learning boxing in finishing school, Tiernan had found his calling. Now starting his next match, who does he see in the row, but Aisling, Fiona's ex-best friend! And our story begins. We get to take their journey as Tiernan and Aisling fall in love. It's not pretty, it's not easy, but it's strong and true. Tiernan proves to be the man I knew he would turn into with the McCarty men behind him. Aisling turns out to be quite a handful. Not in the best of circumstances, finding herself under the protection(and imprisonment...lol) of the clan is the best thing that could have happened. Love, love, love this series! Jane has outdone herself with the Dangerous Doms!

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross continue their fabulous Irish narration as Tiernan and Aisling. These two just exude chemistry, and we can feel it through the characters they portray. The accents are spot on, the voices from book to book consistent and the performance one I know I can count on to enjoy! These two are made for this series, creating our Dangerous Doms world so that we can hear and see it in our minds!

Tiernan is the one!

Tiernan by Jane Henry
Book 6 of the Dangerous Doms Series
Narration by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross

I was really excited to hear Tiernan’s story. I loved seeing him grow into the clan and his acceptance into it as well. This series is full of strong, protective men and feisty sassy women they fall hard for. He’s become quite the boxer and an enforcer of the clan all under his tutelage from the McCarthy Clan and while he was in finishing school.

Aisling torn my heart out with the depth of just how far she dropped with her addictions. Tiernan comes to her rescue right at the start of this book and we’re taken on a wild ride with twists and turns all while trying to help Aisling overcome her addictions. He’s a patient man with her. He is fiercely protective of all of the clan and as his brothers let him know, Aisling is part of that clan, and will go to every length they can to protect both Aisling and Tiernan from the repercussions of the night where everything changed when these two were brought together again.

It was amazing how the clan rallied to help her heal and helped her become the real woman they saw in her again.

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are the glue I seek in this amazing series that Jane Henry has created for us! The Irish accents are like travelling to Ballyhock for a wee visit and their performances of all the clan members are a welcome visit to all of them with these two narrating this series. I really loved Tiernan maybe he’s at top spot in the clan for me so far.

Sweetest one yet!!

I love this series, a perfect combination of darkness and sweet romance. But this book is made all the sweeter by how we have watched Tiernan grow into the man he is.

Ashlyn is a troubled and tormented woman, but she’s strong and loyal to her core. What a great listen

I cannot say enough good things about Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. True lay some of the best narrators

Great!

Since when do you have to write a full 15 word review just to leave 5 stars? The book was great but I'm not a fan of the new rating system. I find I leave no review for more books now than before.
