About this listen

Beautiful Katherine Collins, a young woman from nowhere, suddenly had it all. Her promising career as an up-and-coming cabaret singer in a swinging 1930s hot spot known as Simply Blues lands her smack in the middle of a tug of war the likes of which she'd never dreamed possible. On one side stands the man who had opened the door to her career but who refuses to allow himself any further claim to her heart, and on the other stands a man who will do anything to claim Katherine as his own.

Set in the tumultuous times leading up to World War Two, both men will shape her destiny in unchangeable ways, but whose heart will Katherine choose, and whose will she break forever?

Where does Time Heals Everything rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is a fantastic audio book. The writing is evocative and the narration is very, very good. I like the fact the narrator was a man - John Podulka - as the primary characters are two men in love with the same woman.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Kat - she was star-crossed in so many ways. Vulnerable, talented, lonely - she reminded me of Elsa in Casablanca

What does John Podulka bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

John Podulka brings the main character - Nick to a vibrant life. He does a great job as Ash as well...and he's brilliant in quite a few spots as Kat.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, but that would be a spoiler!

Any additional comments?

Loved the author's writing...have purchased Linda Swain's Chasing Destiny and really enjoyed that novel/audio book as well.
