Wonderful and great story. It has everything in it. Magic, suspense, romance, excitement. I just loved it!!!

Wonderful

I’ve read and listened to this book many times since it first came out in print. It entertains throughout the many happy events and draws tears during tragic life events (Alzheimer’s).

It is one of my favorite books and Sandra Burr is an excellent narrator.

Even great the nth time around

One of Nora Roberts best. The narrator did a fabulous job. The audio was way over processed though and the very obvious manipulations constantly threw me out of the story. I know it usually enhances but in this one it was over done😳😳😳

Great story, not so great audio.

Enjoyed this book very much. I found the story line was interesting with a dash of humor

Magic Life

This was one of my favorites way back when... Sandra Burr is normally excellent, but the recording speed is way too fast on this one. I also noticed some mispronunciations (e.g. wunderkind, quarry). Otherwise still an entertaining listen.

Oldie but goodie... Narration speed is off on this

Would you consider the audio edition of Honest Illusions to be better than the print version?

Should have read this one. Not sure if it was the narrator reading too fast or the sound editor botching it, but the end result was a speed read that was choppy and unnatural. Very distracting.

Good Story, Bad Recording
