About this listen

Fear is contagious.

In a small town in Utah, people are contracting a horrific disease with alarming plague-like symptoms. The CDC quarantines the area, but outbreaks are already being reported in China, Japan, and England. Evidence suggests this is not a new strain of superbug - but an act of war, an orchestrated deployment of unstoppable terror....

Special agent Jericho Quinn, hell-bent on finding the sniper who attacked his family, steps into an even bigger, and deadlier, conspiracy: a secret cabal of elite assassins embedded throughout the globe. Infecting the very fabric of the free world. Exterminating targets with cold, silent precision. For Quinn, it's as insidious as the virus that claims new victims each day - and he plans to wipe it off the face of the Earth....

Great book, need more

This is one of the best in the series. All characters are deeply drawn, so we think we know them…but then we are surprised! Boom! Gotya. Definitely need more Quinn.

Well worth the time.

Excellent performance by the reader. Really enjoyed his cadence, attention to punctuation and nuanced understanding of key points that needed emphasis.

The story itself was good, some parts just hard to hear ( underage sex slaves, etc.) My preference is espionage and espionage type things…not necessarily seedy red light district stuff; call me old fashioned. Nevertheless, overall a good story. Looking forward to the next book.

interesting but lacking exxitement

narration ..needs more power and vibrance. Story could've been better simply by having a more enthusiastic narrator

Exciting book

Very exciting book, has a lot of action. The main character is tough but has a soft side.

Series needs to be reorganized

I love how the series is shaping out to be. I would’ve loved this book third to understand book four better.

Part 3

This is sadly not a standalone story— just a continuation of books one and two. What is truly infuriating, though, is that it doesn’t finish it— there is zero closure, and by reading the reviews of the next book it is just another unfulfilled segment. I don’t mind serials, but each book should have at the very least some closure of threads while undercovering new ones.

Like gore?

The story was interesting but one violent gory passage after another. All of those violent passages get in the way of the story. Less is more.

The halting speech of performer-not listenable!

Could not get past the performer to actually listen to the book. A shame because I actually enjoy the Jericho series.
