About this listen

In 1352, Xavier Kovach made a deal with the devil. He sold his soul and the souls of his children for a book of magic secrets and the love of a demon concubine. Now it's 2058, and Tim Kovak has just inherited the book, the magic, and the girl. He's got six weeks to turn himself into a villain or a hero, with no choices left in between. Tim's got to get with the program and start training to be a supervillain or get ready to fight off an army of demons, armed with nothing but his sense of humor... and a fork.

It was even better twenty years ago.lol I'm proud of your book, it was a fun journey, and I'm waiting anxiously for the rest. What else do you say to the guy who immortalized our friendship? Cheers

Outstanding voice actors

Characters 10/10, backstory and world building 10/10, action and plot 10/10. This book needs to be made into a series show.

I read the book first — and loved it, enough that I eagerly got the audiobook. (I’m someone who doesn’t read things twice.)

I’m so glad I did. It’s even better than I remember reading it the first time. And the audio performances are so on point! Fantastic characters (voices) and narrative and acting.

I can’t wait for the next book, and the continuation of this world and story.

Whoa…. Brilliant!

Guy finds out he's got his own personal sex demon and... asks for a raise, cleans his apartment, settles things with his ex, works out obsessively, hangs out with his bros more, and builds a new PC.

It's suspiciously motivational.

But there's lots of good old fashioned demon-punching, some absolutely fantastic world-building, and a wisecracking porn bot. Who'd better be all over the next installment. 'Cause I will be getting it.

Also looking forward to more of these performances. Full-cast recordings are great, but often make it hard to follow action as they leave out descriptive cues. This is the right combination of narration & performance, and both actors do an excellent job.

Is this Alpha?

Who would you choose: a cherished high school sweetheart, a beguiling therapeutic succubus, or a witch that just might be your true love? It isn't an easy choice for Timothy as he finds himself in a world of demons, angles, and a past that hold answers to his future.

I could say this book is all about the fantasy world of the Kovak family line, but that would be doing a huge disservice to the relationship that unfold. To me this is book about a man who is finds his voice, values, and life through the women he encounters. He is changed forever for the better based on choices he makes after each interaction with the human, succubus, and witch.

Yes, there is all the fighting and hardship he must undergo, but really for me the heart of the book is a love story. Which direction TImothy will go we still don't know, but there is no doubt that he learns how to become a good man despite his past.

The writing of the characters and dialogue is witty, touching, and meaningful. I am eager to read the next book and for someone that doesn't typically enjoy this genre I found myself engaged and wanting more.

I personally might just be a therapeutic succubus named Lydia afterall, but it doesn't mean I don't know how to love a hero.

It just might be a love story afterall.
