About this listen

What is it that makes someone a success in business? What drives an individual to create success? Is it being hit by a lucky stick or is it something else?

Lorenz started from nothing, a common theme, but founded two companies, ran them successfully, and sold them to Fortune 500's. Through thought-provoking, insightful, and engaging stories with real world examples, Lorenz provides intuitive practical advice on the fundamentals of life success: Seek and seize the opportunities in front of you. Your ears will be opened to new possibilities with every chapter.

Your next decision could dictate the trajectory you take. How you spend your time, and the decisions you make all matter. You will enjoy learning how to see business and life differently, the opportunities that so many others fail to see.

Book about business in the tire industry

Didn't realize this was going to be about the tire industry but it was worth my time. I am familar with the area as I owned a busines relatively close to where this company started. I also liked the comparison he used with down south or friendly to business states compared to Washington State and have also experienced the same changes as I moved away from Washington for that reason, lol. Great innovative thinking and scaling their business. LIked the real life almost complete shut down of their business and for those who don't know this yet when you own a business you're a firefighter just putting out business fires while your company runs.

Get This Book!

This book is so full of practical wisdom. Some stories in books are worth skipping over but each story in this book was really essential with the points that were being made. I’m going to be ordering a physical copy so I can take notes in it.

what a story

it's good to hear a ground roots story that someone explains their failures and short comings, how they recognized them and how they grew from them and became a success and even while successful continued to learn and grow. we all have great and doubts but believing in yourself and trusting those around you makes for a successful path forward.

Dont read this driving redeye for 24 hrs straight

awesome book, but it gets a bit trippy towards the end if you have been driving too long. caused a bit of paranoia about exploding tires and your brain starts to change the word tire to tired lol. But still an awesome book. if youre in business and entrepreneurship definitely give it a read
