Editorial reviews

The second book in Diane Duane's Feline Wizards series, To Visit the Queen sees Rhiow and her Grand Central Station cat team time traveling back to 1874 to stop an attempted assassination on Queen Victoria, with the help of Arthur Conan Doyle. If they aren't successful, their nemesis will be able to change the course of history and destroy the world. Angele Masters juggles the demands of Duane's story with ease, flipping between the mewling and purring felines and a posh English accent, helping to set the scene as well as delineate these unforgettable characters.

and never fails to entertain. I met her writing first when my girls were teenagers, and discovered I loved her writing. It is hopeful and positive, with enough of an edge to keep you going. The reader in this book does an incredible job with all the voices - she is great. I'm looking forward to listening to another one. Oh, and did I mention the main characters are cats?! what a delight.

Diane Duane is a delightful writer
