Shannon Whitney didn't believe she had a future until Andrew McVie crash-lands his time-traveling hot air balloon in her backyard one summer afternoon and changes her life forever. He is a Revolutionary War patriot. She is an independent modern woman. Their paths should never have crossed, but apparently fate has other plans...

Any additional comments?
I wasn't sure I was going to bother reading this but I decided to read it since it was a time travel. I liked Andrew and Shannon and the sex was better in this book, which I happen to like in my books. After reading that Shannon had a ex-husband I new he would make a showing and he would be detestable, which he was, and he ALMOST got what he deserved. It was a good read, over all.I've started the third book, Destiny's Child, but so far I'm not too sure I like it. Since I live in the real world I read books to take me away from that part of my life so for an author to write about a heroine who is overweight, a child who she describes as ugly and the girl's father who is a real bastard, I'm not even sure I'll want to finish this book. I'll let you know..
As to the narrator: I really wasn't going to listen to this one because the narrator isn't worth a crap when it comes to any kind of emotions while reading the book. IMO..
Whether she's supposed to be laughing, whispering, grumbling, she reads every word the same. Just terrible. AND, just like the first book, Somewhere in Time, Andrew sounds tooo feminine.
Better than the first..
