Practical and Inspirational

Pastor Hybels does a great job both inspiring the reader to pray more and to provide practical ways to build and implement a richer time with God.
Over the years I have read many books on prayer but from my perspective this is one of the best. It is definitely worth the time to listen and I plan on going through it again in the next couple of weeks; this next time with my wife.

Good book with some heavy thoughts

Good book overall. With Hybels had read it.

Had some good tactics/techniques for improving your prayer life and growing in faith with God. Had some heavy points that really hit you too. Will likely listen to it again so it all sinks in.

Yes

What about Robertson Dean’s performance did you like?

The honesty and transparency he shares in this book let's me know that I'm not the only one lacking or slacking in my prayer life. I need to be more conscious of the free time I have in my life.

The Right Message at the Right Time

Repeatable. Many practical suggestions to consider adoption during a second, more thorough re-listening. At the end, the author focused on "the presence of the Lord"... not as a prerequisite, but as an offering of grace (my summation) and it was exactly what I've been grappling with. To the author...thank you and may the Lord bless you.

Most Practical Book on Prayer

I have not read many books, but I have listened to many sermons about prayer, its benefits in the life of a Christian. However, I must say this is the single most book that I have listened to from start to end (multiple times, by the way) that give very practical instruction on developing a life of prayer that yields positive and long lasting results in the christian life. I love how Bill incorporated his own stories throughout the book, making it more practical and relatable. He has a heart for God and may God continue to bless and protect Him in the ministry He's called Him in and may this book's instructions reach more people. I have personally started a routine to get closer to God through prayer, and I believe God will give me the courage and discipline needed to keep up for His glory in the mighty name of Jesus.
