A Pleasant surprise!

I was hesitant to buy this book from an unfamiliar author but the storyline was magnificent and the plot engaging to the end. the narration left a little to be desired at times but overall this is a great book and an easy to listen to!

Women of Justice series

Any additional comments?

The books were good, but the storyline of all 3 books in the Women of Justice series was the same. It was almost like listening to the same book 3 times.

pretty good story

The story was pretty good. Editing missed several areas, though. The narrator did not seem to have voice latitude and missed the mark for character development. ,

A narrator can make or break an audible book

It was all i could do to finish this book because of the narrator. Her voice made all of the females sound like vapid idiots. The only reason i kept listening is because the story was pretty good, and i wanted to find out what happened. If i see this narrator’s name again, i will avoid that book!

Elementary... Needed a different narrator

I had to make myself finish this book. The narrator was not my style. I will not be purchasing another book with this narrator. Sorry Jeanie. The storyline was predictable. I do like the fact that there was no
Cursing.

Wonderful

What a great story, so intense that I had to stop listening once or twice. Romance was subdued but there and the plot well it was great. I did figure it out before the end but it didn't matter.

My only comment on performance was that all the voices blended and I couldn't always tell who was speaking.

Bll

Very interesting story line...never under estimate the desire to live. Loved the faith based influence. Narrator was ok. Will definitely be reading more of her books!

A bit slow but…

Overall, I liked this story better than others in the genre. The story naturally unfolded with clues being found little by little. The male and female protagonists were written very well, like I knew people who thought or acted like that. I especially enjoyed the interplay between father and daughter. The romance developed naturally without a huge amount of angst. They acted like adults not teens worrying about every interaction.

Unfortunately, the story was a little too long, the villain a little too good, LE a little too slow, and THE MESSAGE a little too obvious in my opinion. I hit 30 sec advance a few times but not many. This is typical of the genre, though the story’s good outweighed the bad.

The narrator was not good. I usually don’t complain, but she made a habit of making the women and teens sound like children. Her natural voice sounded old, though, so the audio varied from geriatric to juvenile. Who produced the audio? It seems to me that someone should have told her to fix that. It wasn’t unlistenable, but it did get annoying and confusing. I finished the book. It did have a touching ending. It is worth the listen if only for a distraction.
