Publisher's summary

A beautiful woman named Kate is murdered in Tucson, Arizona, and no one can figure it out. A quirky private investigator from Phoenix named Blake Moran, gets hired to help. Even though Blake’s tagline, “We Find Stuff,” may be less than impressive, he is surprisingly good at what he does. The murderer thinks he got away with it. Working both inside and outside “the lines,” can Blake find the murderer before the murderer finds him? Along the way, Blake is faced with some of life's biggest questions, and he is slowly realizing the answers can only come from God.

About the AuthorDavie Mac (aka David McAllister) is Pastor of a multi-location church and resident of Tucson, Arizona, and has always been a big fan of the “who-done-it” genre. He combines the suspense and humor he so enjoys and weaves in answers to some of the biggest question our society has about life, God, Jesus, and the Bible.

David has already completed the third book in this series and is working on the fourth and the audio books. Professionally, David founded and has pastored the Bridge Christian Church for over 30 years. He is also a song writer, having written over 50 songs to date, he plays the drums in a band, and is an avid weightlifter. David and his wife Kimberly have seven children and twelve grandchildren.

I couldn’t put it down!!!

Too Young to Die truly kept me interested. I didn’t want to put it down. I have to say I just finished listening to this book and can’t wait to start Davie Mac’s 2nd book. I would put this book right up with other mystery, who done it authors. I enjoy listening to books being read by the author. This is certainly a series that I will follow.

“Don’t get dead”

I love the suspense, plot twist and the storyline. It’s a book you have to read until the very end to understand and love.

interesting story but...

The story line is interesting but the main character comes off more like a teenager than a thirty-five year old PI.

Good first book

Looking forward to hearing more about Blake Moran, and hope the author keeps the supporting characters involved, also hope to see a Christian evolution of good old Blake and Cindy

10 Hours of Fun!

Let me first of all say that I'm not a big fan of Non-fiction reading, never really have been. I'm more of a "watch the movie" kinda guy. That said I really wanted to give this a shot, for personal reasons. Read that as "I know the author personally and wanted to show my support."

And man am I glad I did! This story was FANTASTIC! I was hooked, found myself sitting in parking lots, refusing to go into the store until a chapter was done, or in my driveway to finish another chapter. Honestly thinking about the mystery when not even listening to the book. Who does that?! Is that a thing you novel readers do? Because it's fun!

You know when you just finish something, and you count the hours or days until you're able to get back to it again? Yeah that was what it was like with this story! Was just excited for the next chance to get back to it. Not a dull moment.

Blake, the main guy is quirky, and funny. You even get connected to some of the supporting characters as well. Wanting to know a bit more about them and their backgrounds also.

So look at that, the big "BM", Blake Moran, he's done it again. He's "found stuff", and that "stuff" this time, is another reader! Thanks for the journey, can't wait for the next!

Give it a read - you'll be thankful you did!

First audiobook..

Really enjoyed listening to this book! The author is really good at transporting you to the scene; it's like you are part of the story with the others. The storyline grabs your attention and you get a feel for the characters.

Couldn’t finish it

It’s just too corny. I tried but I just couldn’t finish it. I enjoy funny but not stupid funny.

unnecessary verbiage.

Story of PI that continually explains stuff that has no value to but to add pages to book. Could not finish.
