About this listen

In Trapping Zero (book 4), a terrorist cell in the Mideast gains a new, fanatic leader, one intent on orchestrating what would be the deadliest attack on American soil. Can Agent Zero uncover the plot and stop him in time?

Although Agent Zero’s daughters are home safely, the mental anguish from their experience weighs heavy on their small family. Zero, working to be a good father and to repair the damage, decides the time has come to undergo surgery to regain all of his memories. But will it work?

In the midst of it all, he is again thrust into the line of duty as a US embassy is destroyed in the Mideast and as an experimental new weapon is uncovered. But without his memories, with some of his own CIA allies intent on his destruction, whom can he really trust?

Trapping Zero (book 4) is a pause-resisting espionage thriller that will keep you listening late into the night.

Was my least favorite of the series

So far the series has been pretty good. But this title was a bit to unbelievable at times for me. They also changed the narrator for this book, and I think that is what really disappointed me. He made alot of his male characters sound alike, as well as kinda dorky.

Switching narrators

It is extremely frustrating when a series of audio books switches narrators. It's like switching actors in the middle of a movie. When the voices change, it can be extremely frustrating. I have enjoyed the Kent Steele audio books, but changing the voice of Kent Steele changes how the reader pictures him. I found it extremely difficult to get into this audio book since the narrators voice of Kent Steele changed and sounded extremely nasally.

Great story, didnt care for the narrator.

I love the series but the lack of a consistant narrators kind of weighs on me. And this one was good but sounded way to young for this book.

Why does the females sound like Data from sttng?

Overall action filled good book. But the narrator did not do a good job. He just tried to much to create many different voices. Annoying..

I stopped the series after this book.

This is too bad really. I liked the storyline for this series a lot as well as the original narrator. The new narrator almost made me stop listening to the book, but I paid for it, so I struggled through the whole thing. I will not listen to any more books in this series as long as the narrator is Brian Callanan. For all I know, he may be a good person, but his narration was not my cup of tea.

Good new storyline with a catch

I loved the story and it was well written but the performance was extremely different than prior books. The narrator was very boring and the tonality made me fall asleep while listening if I wasn’t doing something else to keep me interested.

New narrator?

Loved the story but hate that they changed the narrator after 3 books. Made it very difficult to get into it

Terrible narrator!

I just started listening to the series and got engrossed in the first 3 books, listening to them literally in one week. Got to this book and the narrator changed and he's terrible! He made some of the folks in the book sound like Disney characters. I was looking forward to book 5 until i saw that this narrator did that one too. I'll suffer through it because I'm into the series now but I sincerely hope they NEVER have this narrator do another read!
