Classic adventure

This was as riveting a tale as i have heard since i was a child. indeed, given the language, boozing and violence, I'd be surprised to find the book in Bible Belt public and school libraries. Well narrated, Praetzellis held my attention. I down-checked the work one star because i found it annoying to be told this was the end of the chapter, then to have the tale interrupted at the beginning of each chapter to tell us this was Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. I think we knew that. Otherwise, credit well spent, this was.

AMAZING READING

Treasure island is one of if not my favorite book. I have listened to many versions in audiobook format, and this is by far and away the best performance. I listen to it repeatedly, and it is very near and dear to me. I recommend this over all the others that are present on audible. If you are looking for a good, and historically sound story, do not skip past. This one worth, every penny, would highly recommend!

Adventurous Fun

This is a wonderful book. I partly wanted to listen to it due to it being the inspiration of my favorite movie Treasure Planet. It's nice to see how the adaption is from the book and I must say the book is truly it's own story as is, the movie. The reader as well does a great job telling the story as well as playing as the characters like a a voice actor.
