About this listen

Jacobia Tiptree saved her sanity - and her son, Sam - the day she abandoned Wall Street for the seacoast village of Eastport, Maine. In her new home, a charmingly dilapidated fixer-upper, she looks forward to repairing old radiators and restoring antique shutters for years to come. But Jake's hopes of serenity are dashed when tiny Eastport erupts in a crime wave.

Hometown bad boy Kenny Mumford - old flame of Jake's best friend and fellow sleuth, Ellie White - is the first victim. When his corpse washes up on the beach at Prince's Cove, all evidence points to a drowning...except the bullet hole in his forehead. When bodies begin littering the Maine scenery, Jake and Ellie learn that the ante on Kenny's small-town antics has been upped.

Add a pair of unwelcome arrivals - Jake's ex-husband, and an unscrupulous New York ex-money mogul - and you've got a blueprint for more deadly danger than one old house can hold.

My new go to books

The more I read into this series the more I like them. Narrator was great (aside from the fact some characters sounds a bit older than what they should be) but it's hard to voice different characters by yourself so I wasn't even upset by that. I've been waiting for the next Nora Roberts book to be published so I decided I would read a few 'new' authors books and I have not been disappointed with this or the Cat Got Your series that I read prior to these. I'm excited to go to the next book now that the ex is seemingly a new permanent and Wade gets funnier and funnier. Can't wait to see what trouble Jake and Ellie get into next.

Second in the series and looking forward more

Would you listen to Triple Witch again? Why?

Yes, great book, a lot of detail

Any additional comments?

I like this kind of book, not too heavy, good humour, enough of a mystery to keep you going.

Well Done

This is a well written story with great characters and a well developed mystery. I love the town of Eastport Maine. It's almost another character in the story.

interesting

Took a little time to get engaged with this book. Several different sub plots plus lots of twists and turns. Enjoyed the story in the end.

Good mystery, main character needs a backbone

I enjoy the mysteries. They're good little stories but as is the case in a lot of these books the main character can get annoying at times. Mainly because she lets her ex husband walk all over her and for all the talk in her head about finally putting him in his place, she never actually does. At the end he even moves there beside her and still walks in her house and eats her food whenever he wants without her saying anything.

Good read

I like the main character but truly abhor the spineless jellyfish-like behavior she exudes everytime her ex husband Victor is around. I recommend highly I just struggle with that relationship.

Very good story super good performance

I have read this author before, but I think I liked this book "out of all the others" the best. The book is placed in the state of Maine with all the glories of that state. The main character is smart caring and brave. She tells us all about the challenges of life living in Maine, restoring an "old" house, with a live in ghost. She has a teenage son , crazed ex husband, a great boyfriend "all living with her", and there is murder in town. This is a small town where everyone knows everybody and everything about everybody! There is so much more to tell , read the book it's mysterious exciting great.

This reader's performance, is one of the best if not the best I have listened to! She really added to the book.

The author is a prolific writer, many books to pick from. This makes me happy, as I can count on good times from her books. Some authors books can disappoint, "not this one."

If you are a member of Audible books, and a Amazon Prime member, "I am," (this book is a free book!). What can I say (score) fun good read, free. and with staying at home I get books on line, yeah internet.

This book was fun , and a really good mysterious story. Recommend book, recommend author, recommend reader.

Good Continuing Series

If you could sum up Triple Witch in three words, what would they be?

Good second book to the series. Person narrating does well also, plan to listen to all the books in the series.

Great story and characters; language issue for me.

Love the characters, narrator and story. Talented author. I just wish the misuse of God’s and Jesus’ name wasn’t so prevalent. There was no disrespect of other beliefs, so I can never understand why authors do it to Christians. It certainly doesn’t make the story better, and it colors the experience negatively for me. Otherwise, great work.
