About this listen

Captain Galvin Quintos is grappling with two gut-wrenching losses in his life—first, Hardy, the enigmatic ChronoBot, and more recently, Doc Viv. Now, he's exchanged his Captain's Mount for a life of solitude deep in the Colorado wilderness.

Intel from the Alliance raises the alarm: Earth is teetering on the brink of an impending attack. Quintos, reluctantly pulled back into service by the EUNF, finds himself up against untenable odds. The one bright spot is USS Franklin, awaiting his command, an Omninought-Class behemoth armed with the latest cutting-edge technology.

When the assault arrives on Earth, it's a living nightmare. The Varapin have wielded an unholy power—a technology capable of transposing entire worlds. Now, stranded in a hostile star system light-years away, Earth is quickly freezing over, turning to ice. Racing against the clock, Quintos might need to strike a deal with the devil to retrieve an elusive alien technology that can reverse this cataclysm.

Hold onto your kibbles 'n bits—this space thriller defies the ordinary. With heart-stopping space duels, unrelenting extraterrestrial adversaries, mind-bending technology, and not just one, not even two, but three captivating women vying for his attention, Quintos embarks on the journey of a lifetime.

The author got back to the basics of why I follow this series. I thought the last book was the end of this series. I was highly critical of it and hated most of it but this book was a lot of fun to listen too even with the change in narrator. if you hated the last book I would recommend giving this book a try and if you still don't like it move on. looking foward to the next book.

back to the story I wanted.

Interplay of the main characters is interesting but the plot resolution stretches credibility. There are too many miraculous saves.

It's a great war story set in an imaginative universe

Loved the book, I liked the whole series. Wish Doc Viv would get back together with Quinton!

Slip’s torture

I was very surprised at how all of this unfolded I wasn't sure how this was going to play out, but I was satisfied with it.

Surprised

Everything seemed to be great throughout the story, accept Doc Viv's story doesn't line up. The previous books explain a different story.
It almost seems like someone else wrote this story. I can't see the same author on this series making such a major mistake. Please Explain?

Major Blunder- Doc Viv

By far one of the worse narrator for any book I have listened to. The story was so slow and the reading was sub par. I would like a refund on my purchase.

Uss franklin

The writing on this one is subpar. Too many dramatic turns that make no sense. And the writing became boring. Not really sure what’s going on, but I’m it doesn’t feel like the same author. I really liked the prior voice actor hearing a different voice actor is kind of jarring as the characters are different.

Subpar writing on this one. Maybe a different writer as a ghost rider

poorly written. Things like in the middle of a battle the captain was handing out crew promotions or trying to find his niece how was prepping for a performance. It just makes no sense.

Poorly written
