About this listen

The Buddhist Psychology book is not just another book to share some information about Buddha and Buddhism. This book is actually an opportunity for every listener to reach a deeper aspect of life, through this tunnel of Buddhism teachings. It will be an interesting ride that will make you wonder about different dimensions of life. The central aim of the book is to help the listener understand the larger aspects of three universal truths, four noble truths, eightfold path, and 12 links to origination, but the context is not limited to the above mentioned numbers and topics. It allows us to dive deeper in the analytical approach to decode the mind, and the circle of life. What makes us humans? What other worlds are there? Can we make an effort towards getting a human life again in rebirth? Can we get a life higher than human existence? All these questions will be answered as you move along the path of this book. When you finish, you will be able to understand the aspect of suffering, its causes, and its end. Your lives will not be a pursuit of materialistic rewards, but it will turn into a pursuit of calmness. You will weave a wonderful path to the sensible broad view of existence, out of the knowledge of these teachings, and the understanding of life.

What I appreciated about this book is how analytical the approach was. I learned that Buddhism isn’t only spiritual or devotional, it also offers a logical framework to understand life. The way the 12 links were explained felt almost scientific in how they connect cause and effect. It made me want to read more, not just believe more. That balance of heart and head made the content feel grounded.

I’ve always been fascinated by Buddhism having studied martial arts for many years. We practiced meditation and were introduced to shaolin monks during this time, where I got to witness first-hand the Buddhist the way of life. This bundle set is great value and full of in-depth knowledge of this peaceful religion. I found it easy to follow and engaging.

I studied Buddhism in college, but as it has been a few years, I was looking for a refresher on my knowledge. These books were a fabulous way to dive back into things and made me feel as if no time had passed. I find Buddhism to be one of the most interesting religions to learn about, and this book kept me engaged and interested the whole time.

Really enjoyable and informative!

What stood out to me most was the breakdown of suffering, what causes it and how we often unknowingly contribute to it. I learned how clinging, craving, and ignorance are not just abstract ideas but play out in very small, everyday ways. The explanations were simple without being shallow. It made me pause and reconsider how I react to discomfort. There’s a calm honesty in the way the book handles this universal experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and learning all about the major tenets of Buddhism. I especially enjoyed the chapter on Zen living- which I plan on incorporating into my every day life. This was very informative and engaging, well written and narrated, and I feel like I got a great deal with the two in one value bundle! If you want to learn more about Buddhism, this is the audiobook you want!

One of the most intriguing parts of the book for me was the discussion around rebirth and the idea of getting a human life again. I learned that this isn’t just about karma in the popular sense but about consciousness and intention. The book doesn’t give simple answers but invites deep questioning. It made me think differently about life’s patterns and what we carry with us. I’m still reflecting on this, and that feels like part of the process.

I found myself practicing Buddism habits, especially meditation. Everything about Buddhism has always attracted me but to be honest, I've never really explored it so when I came across this book, I was intrigued. Being new to actually learning about Buddhism, I really like how Anit introduces Buddism from its history and how it came about. What I found most insightful was the way Anit revealed the mind, suffering, and meditation from a Buddism perspective. This book is quite liberating, to say the least. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who is interested in Buddism.

I do not believe any of the narrators that I heard were actual human beings reading. now it could be actual people that have provided a catalog of words, and those words are used to construct a narration, but there are so many terrible mistakes that caused me to have to rewind and listen five or six times so that I could get the original sentence understood.

Commas in the wrong places, pauses where there shouldn’t be any, and always seeming to happen right in the middle of a complex concept.

there are actual mistakes, where the same thing is repeated two or more times; it’s all just very awkward and it keeps me from zeroing in on what is being said.

The very first narrator was the most difficult and caused me to have to listen to so many things over and over and over again.

Great content, But it was a great effort to deal with the narration

Reading this book helped me break down the Eightfold Path in a way that finally made sense. I learned how each part, from right speech to right concentration, connects to our daily thoughts and actions. It’s not just a list of ideals but a very practical guide. I appreciated how the book didn’t feel preachy but instead encouraged reflection. It gave me tools to observe my own habits with more awareness.
