I've had the hard copy in my Amazon cart since it was released, and I never had the push to actually buy it. This evening, I got the email notification about it becoming an audio book, and I went over to listen to the preview. After less than 3 minutes of listening, I immediately bought the audio book and didn't stop listening till it was done. I've loved every single minute of it!
Shamina has such a warm, inviting voice, so I'm glad she chose to read this herself. The content is exactly what I needed to hear at this point in my life, and it wasn't just fluffy, airy, fairy stuff. There were so many practical steps she provided that I'm eager to implement in the coming days, weeks, and months. I'm actually re-reading the book a third time, as it was that good!
The only critique I have though, is that there are some parts where some mistakes are left in which, ideally could have been edited out, however it's easy to look past that to the actual content which is definitely worth it. Please, do yourself a favor and get this book!

I am listening to this book for the second time already because I have evolved my mindset already from the first time. I know I will catch more Aha moments the second time because I already see things differently. My advice is to listen to this book listening for what is in it for you at this time. Material is great. Author’s voice is great. She’s a natural. However the editing is choppy and distracting!! For someone so on their game I’m surprised the audio is so bad.

Love this book of helping anyone become aware of how trauma and old toxic patterns hold us back from living the dream. Shamina came into my life at a time of feeling accomplished but stuck. Feeling that there is more to my future and my hearts desires have changed and I expect to receive more! A must read for any woman that has not been authentic to herself. It does open the door to empowerment to being full of love, joy and peace. Helps create an impact through any occupation that she may be involved in. So grateful to have implemented this wisdom in my life.

I love how Shamina walk us through the process of freeing our thoughts and the choices we make, in order to have freedom and choose the life we live. So much helpful information if you are choosing self-help book or something to work on mindset, this is the book the exact same emotional work can apply to so many areas of our life. This book is definitely worth it. I have subscribed to her podcast to continue doing my own work and acquiring the life I deserve.
