About this listen

They are everything to me.

I love Jaxson, Ezra, Maverick, and Ryder the same and in vastly different ways all at once. It's a love that threatens to consume me. To take over every waking second of my final year...

...if only hidden enemies, ancient secret societies, and unsolved murders weren't also competing for my attention.

This will be my hardest term yet.

Not just for the horror of the present, but for the uncertainty of my future. How can I have a life with my knights when someone is determined that I don't survive my senior year at all?

But I will find them. I will expose them.

And by the end...only one will be left standing.

Unmasked is a reverse harem high school bully romance with a sweet tinge of mystery. This is the final book in the series and features language, dark themes, and sexual scenes.

An Epic Conclusion to an Unforgettable Series

This book was one of the reasons why I fell in love with the bully genre. I am happy by how it all ended. Every mystery and questions I have were solved. This was the good thing as the author did her best to finish the series in the best way possible. It had everything a book should have. The narrator did not disappoint. I like that all the bad guys got what they deserved, that's all the spoiler I'll reveal. I can confidently say that this was one of the most unforgettable series I've read. Highly recommend everyone to listen to this epic conclusion. PS. There is still Somerset University which follows Val and her guys' journey in college. Check it out on Amazon if you love this series as much as I do. You won't regret it.

Elegantly tidy ending

Finally! The mystery of the dang Spades and their Ace is revealed. I must admit, the reveal was cleverly executed. I never suspected the ring leader of the Evergreen circus. Still, in the end, it was inconsequential. Valentina and her Knights, but mostly Valentina, handily outsmarted the system.

It’s Vincent’s portrayal of the poor, single-mom teen heroine as smart, tenacious, resourceful, commanding, and sexually liberated that is my favorite aspect of the novel. Despite the harsh treatment from supporting characters, Valentina is never less than an exceptional female lead. Including, how traits stereotypically read as drawbacks being used as what motivates conflict resolution rather than as what excuses lazy character development. Vincent also subverts the images of the jock, the nerd, the virgin, some sort of homeboy, and the exceptional negro without ever calling attention to or preaching about the dangers of employing those kind of limiting archetypes.

If you’re looking for a smart romance with a bit of action, tons of intrigue and the sweetest, sometimes, slowest burning attraction you can maintain while sharing the fire among five, you have to read the Evergreen Academy(EA) series. If you only read one reverse harem series in your life, read the EA series. If boarding schools do it for you, read It. This series is sure to satisfy many romance tastes. However, if you are not a fan of series or books that end with you hanging from very low cliffs, give one of Vincent’s standalones a shot. I have feeling that you won’t regret it.

Ugh

Again another narrator that just drove me nuts. She breathy and Moany and sounds like she’s whispering. I like the narrator that did the first two books.

Had potential

-sex sucked. It's a RH with hardly any sex
-Switching narrators mid series and changing the voices threw me off
-The ending sucked. You don't even get to see them graduate or see what happens in the future

I will never read another one of this lady's books!

Good series. Not great, but good enough.

There were moments in the Evergreen series that the meter eked up towards the “great” mark, but a narrator change mid-way through that completely altered the mannerisms and sound of the FLC was hard to adjust to.

Still, it’s a good series with a compelling storyline. Now that it’s a box set it’s completely worth the credit.
